Hong-Anh (Ánh) Nguyen is a filmmaker and photographer born and raised in Vinh city, Vietnam, currently based in Chicago, IL, United States. Her short fiction and documentary explore the interplay among places, moving, labor, and belonging.

Alongside creative practices, Anh has worked in stage productions, film festivals, movie theatres, and marketing for arthouse cinema.
